Lack of complete and up-to-date facility drawings and related documentation adds time and cost to routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. Incomplete or inaccurate as-built information turned over at the conclusion of new construction projects contributes to delays in needed repairs and can impact critical business operations. When FASTTAC™ is used during the construction phase the system helps facility managers overcome these issues.

During construction, FASTTAC becomes a central repository that is accessed and updated by all project team members. All activity throughout the project is recorded providing a virtual audit trail for future reference by project staff and the Owner. As construction is completed, as-built information is recorded by the GC and subcontractors. All current and previous versions of drawings are stored in the FASTTAC system. Operation and Maintenance Manuals are added to FASTTAC and organized by CIS number and trades as they are received by suppliers. At the conclusion of the project the FASTTAC repository is made available to the Owner for ongoing usage by the Facility Operations and Maintenance team.

The FASTTAC archive provides the facilities management team a complete set of facility information that can be housed on site, in the facilities management office, the central office, in mobile devices and/or anywhere else the information is needed. For outsourced facilities managers, it provides the owner with control over the project information even if the facility manager changes over time. As changes occur during the life of the building, FASTTAC's easy-to-use drawing tools permit maintenance workers to keep the "as-built" drawing set current with changes and modifications made throughout the life of the facility.
